Leads

The enquiries the office's site received, and their follow-up: from new to won or lost.

What it is for

Every enquiry from the site is a lead. Here its status is followed, it is given to a member of staff, and notes are written on it.

Who uses it

The page opens for whoever holds “View leads”, to look only, or “Manage leads”, to work in it. In the built-in roles: Owner, Manager, Team member, Agent, Marketing. They are granted to any role under Settings → Roles and permissions.

Step by step

  1. Open an enquiry to see the sender's name, mobile and message.
  2. Change its status: contacted, then interested, then won or lost.
  3. Give it to a member of staff to follow up, and write your notes.

How it works

Your own come first: those given to you, and those sent from the pages of the units you are an agent of; everyone still sees all that their role allows. The enquiry itself (the name, mobile and message) stays as its sender sent it, and is never edited. What is written here is the office's follow-up. An enquiry with no follow-up is “New”. The notes are seen by the office's staff only, and by the enquiry's sender in their copy of their data if they ask for it. Every change is written to the action log by its field names, not their values.

Questions

Where do the enquiries come from?
From the contact form on the office's site; their types are in the site's settings.
Does the sender see our notes?
Not on the site, but they are their data: they show in their copy of it if they ask for it.
