Campaign report
Where the website's visitors come from: visits and enquiries for each source and ad campaign, over a period you choose.
Open the page in EstateOSWhat it is for
When the office runs an ad whose link carries the campaign's tags (utm_source and utm_campaign), the site counts every visit that lands from it, and every enquiry sent after it. Here you read the counts, to see which ad brings visitors and which brings enquiries.
Who uses it
The page opens for whoever holds “View the campaign report”; it is for reading, nothing on it changes anything. In the built-in roles: Owner, Manager. They are granted to any role under Settings → Roles and permissions.
Step by step
- Choose the first and last day in the filter bar; the report updates as you choose. Without a choice, the last thirty days show.
- Read the table: each source, medium and campaign with its visits and enquiries, the most visited first.
- Add the tags to your ads' links: utm_source (the platform, such as tiktok) and utm_campaign (the campaign's name), and utm_medium if you like.
How it works
A visit is counted when a page of the site opens from a link carrying utm_source or utm_campaign; utm_medium alone is not enough. The counts are numbers only, in EstateOS's own database: nothing about the visitor is kept, no cookie, no third party, so the site needs no consent banner. Tags are written one way (lowercase, a space a dash), and a tag that could hold a person's data (an @, or nine digits in a row) is dropped. The campaign is carried from the landing page to the contact form inside the same tab, and ends when it closes; the enquiry shows on “Enquiries” with its campaign. A day counts a hundred campaigns at most; beyond them they are added into one “Other” row, so random links never fill the report. A period is a year at most, in the office's days; a period that does not work is said in a message, and the last thirty days show instead.
On the page
- The first and last day.
- The period's total visits and enquiries.
- Numbers only, nothing about a visitor. The “Other” row adds up campaigns beyond a hundred in a day.
- Each source, medium and campaign with its visits and enquiries, the most visited first.
Questions
- Why does my campaign not show?
- Check that the ad's link carries utm_source or utm_campaign, and that the period covers the day of the visit.
- What is the “Other” row?
- Campaigns beyond a hundred in one day, added into one row.
- Does this track visitors?
- No. Only a number is counted; no address, id or cookie is kept.
