Units

The units the office offers for sale and rent: add them, change them, publish them on the site, delete and restore them.

What it is for

Every unit is a row here, with its type, city and price. A published unit shows on the office's site with a page of its own.

Who uses it

The page opens for whoever holds “View units”, to look only, or “Manage units”, to work in it. In the built-in roles: Owner, Manager, Team member, Agent, Marketing. They are granted to any role under Settings → Roles and permissions.

Step by step

  1. Press “+ New unit”, choose the purpose, the type and the city, and type the title: these four are enough to save.
  2. Add the price, the areas, the rooms, the photos and the features, and choose the cover among the photos.
  3. Press “Publish” for the unit to show on the site, and “Unpublish” to hide it.
  4. To delete a unit: the bin; it is restored from “Deleted”.

How it works

A unit with no price never shows on the site, even when published. A unit's address is made from its first title and does not change. Its publish date is the first time it was published, and a later edit never moves it. The internal notes, the owner and the agents never show on the site, and the address shows only when you allow the location to. The plan counts the active units: once the office reaches its limit, a new or restored unit is refused until a unit is deleted or the plan upgraded. Every change is written to the action log by its field names, not their values.

On the page

  • Search by a unit's title, or filter by purpose, city and type.
  • “+ New unit”: the purpose, the type, the city and the title.
