The office's developments: add them, link their units, publish them on the site, delete and restore them.

What it is for

A project is a development whose page gathers its units. A published project shows on the office's site with a page of its own and its published units.

Who uses it

The page opens for whoever holds “View projects”, to look only, or “Manage projects”, to work in it. In the built-in roles: Owner, Manager, Team member, Agent, Marketing. They are granted to any role under Settings → Roles and permissions.

Step by step

  1. Press “+ New project”, type its name, choose its city, district and unit types, then save.
  2. Add the description, the location and the photos, and choose the cover.
  3. To link a unit to the project: choose the project on the unit's page.
  4. Press “Publish” for the project to show on the site.

How it works

A project's address is made from its first name and does not change, and its publish date is the first time it was published. The owner and the agents never show on the site. Deleting deactivates: its units stay linked to it, and it is restored from “Deleted”. Every change is written to the action log by its field names, not their values.

On the page

  • “+ New project”: the name and the city.

Questions

Does a project count against the plan's limit?
No. Only active units count, in a project or not.
What is “Planned units”?
How many the project will have when it is complete; its listed units are counted from the units linked to it.
