Privacy notice
The text people read about the data the office keeps on them, and the privacy contact a data subject turns to.
Open the page in EstateOSWhat it is for
The privacy notice explains what data the office collects, why, and how its owner exercises their rights. MG Tech writes it and issues its versions, and it shows on a public page of the office's website that needs no sign-in. The contact responsible for privacy requests is set here.
Who uses it
The page opens for whoever holds “View the privacy notice”, to look only, or “Manage the office's settings”, to work in it. In the built-in roles: Owner, Manager. They are granted to any role under Settings → Roles and permissions.
Step by step
- Type the responsible contact, and at least an email or a phone, then “Save”.
- Read the notice in the card beside it, with its version number and date.
- Press “Open the public page” to see what a visitor sees.
How it works
The notice's text is not changed here; every change in its wording raises its version, and the version is kept with every consent recorded and every enquiry from the website. The privacy contact: at least an email or a phone, the name optional; with no name the notice points to “the management of the office”. The action log records that the contact changed, not its values. The public page is on the office's website, linked from the site's footer, the contact form and the sign-in screen, and it shows the contact saved here, or, when none is saved, the website's email and phone from the site setup; it does not show if the website is not published. Only someone holding “Manage the office's settings” changes the contact.
On the page
- The privacy contact: the name, the email and the phone.
- The notice's text and version, and the link to the public page.
Questions

- No. MG Tech writes it and issues its versions; only the contact is yours.
- What if we leave the name blank?
- The notice points to “the management of the office” at the email or phone you typed.
- Why does the public page say “not found”?
- The website is not published; publish it from the site setup.
