Area pages

The office's site pages for each city and district, and for each type and purpose in a district («flats for sale in Al Narjis»), and what each lacks to show in search.

What it is for

People search by place and type. So each city and district has a page gathering its listings, and each type and purpose in a district with three listings or more has its own page.

Who uses it

The page opens for whoever holds “View the area pages”; it is for reading, nothing on it changes anything. In the built-in roles: Owner, Manager, Team member, Marketing. They are granted to any role under Settings → Roles and permissions.

Step by step

1. Look through the list: each page with its published listings.
2. A page not shown to search engines lacks the area's introduction: write it under «Cities and districts».
3. Follow the hints to improve the page's title and description in search results.

How it works

The pages are made of the active cities, districts and types and the published, priced listings, and change with them. A type-and-purpose page opens only from three listings up, and closes if they fall below. A city or district page is always served to visitors, and offered to search engines only once its introduction is written: a page of listings with nothing about the place reads as thin content.
