Export the office's data

A full copy of everything the office keeps in EstateOS, as one compressed file.

What it is for

The office's data is its own, and it needs no review by MG Tech to get it. A full copy can be downloaded from here whenever you like: to keep it, or to move it to another system.

Who uses it

The page opens for whoever holds “View the office's data export”, to look only, or “Manage the office's settings”, to work in it. In the built-in roles: Owner. They are granted to any role under Settings → Roles and permissions.

Step by step

1. Read what the file holds and the warning under it.
2. Press “Download the full copy”, and leave the page open until the download ends.
3. Keep the file somewhere safe; it holds all the personal data, unprotected.

How it works

The file is compressed, with a CSV table for each kind of data, encoded so Excel reads the Arabic, and a _manifest.csv naming the tables and each one's row count. Identity numbers in it are decrypted, and it holds no passwords or codes, and not the photos and documents themselves. It includes the action log, the consents and the data subject requests. It is taken as one consistent snapshot, built on demand and not stored on the server. The download is written to the action log in your name, and the “Last export” card shows the last copy that completed. Only someone holding “Manage the office's settings” downloads it.

Questions

Does it include photos?

No. It includes the files' details, not the photos and documents themselves.
