Billing details

The legal details printed on the office's tax invoices from MG Tech.

What it is for

The legal name, commercial registration, VAT number and national address are entered here, with the e-mail and phone for the invoices. Subscription invoices are issued on MG Tech's platform, and these details are printed on them as the buyer, so no invoice is issued before they are entered.

Who uses it

The page opens for whoever holds “View the billing details”, to look only, or “Manage the subscription and invoices”, to work in it. In the built-in roles: Owner. They are granted to any role under Settings → Roles and permissions.

Step by step

  1. Type the legal name as on the commercial registration, and the English name if there is one.
  2. Type the commercial registration number, and the VAT number if the office is registered for VAT.
  3. Complete the national address: building number, street, district, city, postal code and additional number.
  4. Type the billing e-mail and phone, then “Save”.

How it works

The details are checked for the office's country: in the Kingdom the registration is ten digits, the VAT number fifteen digits starting and ending with 3, the building number four digits, the postal code five and the additional number four; Arabic and Latin digits are both accepted. Outside the Kingdom the address is one line. A change shows on the next invoice; an invoice already issued keeps its details. Only someone holding “Manage the subscription and invoices” edits them, and the action log records which fields changed, not their values. The subscription's first quotation, for the plan chosen at sign-up, waits for these details: MG Tech is asked for it when they are saved, and if it cannot be reached at that moment the quotation arrives within the hour.

Questions

Why has the first quotation not arrived?
It waits for the billing details; MG Tech is asked for it once they are saved here, and the page says so while it waits.
Is the VAT number required?
No; leave it empty if the office is not registered for VAT.
Does a change alter an invoice already issued?
No; it shows on the next invoices only.
Who sees this page?
The owner, and anyone the owner gives “View the billing details” in Roles.
