FAL licence

The office's brokerage licence from the Real Estate General Authority: its number and scan, reviewed before its site opens to visitors.

What it is for

The licence proves the office's right to broker real estate. The EstateOS team reviews it, and the site does not open to visitors until it is approved.

Who uses it

The page opens for whoever holds “View the FAL licence”, to look only, or “Manage the FAL licence”, to work in it. In the built-in roles: Owner, Manager, Team member. They are granted to any role under Settings → Roles and permissions.

Step by step

  1. Type the licence number as its document shows it, and upload its scan.
  2. Save whenever you like: it stays a draft until you send it.
  3. Send it for review, and wait for the approval or the reason it is sent back.
  4. If it is sent back, fix what the reason names and send it again.

How it works

The number and its scan go together: a number with no document proves nothing. While the licence is under review or approved, it is not edited. The licence is asked for where the Authority issues it, so an office in Egypt is not asked for one. An approved licence's number shows on the office's site; its scan never leaves the dashboard. Every save and submission is written to the action log by its field names, not their values.

On the page

  • The licence's status: a draft, under review, approved, or sent back with its reason.
  • Send the licence for review once its number and scan are in.
